HAECO Cabin Solutions, a division of HAECO Americas, has announced that Cathay Pacific Airways will become the launch customer for its new Vector Y+ economy class passenger seat, when the model is installed on Cathay Pacific’s new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. The new seat, designed for long-haul operations, is the latest model from the Vector seat platform, featuring carbon fibre construction, recline-with-seat pan-articulation and industry-leading living space. The Vector platform was formally introduced at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg in April 2015 and the first order for the Vector Y model, designed for short-haul operations, was booked shortly thereafter.
