Mrs Kaori Imoto and Mr Yoshinori Sekikawa, President of the Hakodate Dock Company, hold a photo of the launch of CNCo’s first Singan in 1889.On 18th February, the China Navigation Company ("CNCo") named and launched its new bulk carrier, MV Singan, at Hakodate, Japan; the vessel is scheduled to be delivered at the end of April. Mrs Kaori Imoto, the wife of JS&S Board Director, Jonathan Swire, was the lady sponsor for this vessel at a ceremony to celebrate the vessel's transfer from land to water for the first time.
