Adding colour to Sunnyside School

In June, a group of volunteers from different Swire operating companies helped paint a mural in the garden of Haven of Hope Sunnyside School – a TrustTomorrow volunteering event organised by the Swire Trust. The mural, referencing the Old Testament story of Daniel in the lions' den, which was requested by the school, was a collaboration with ADAM, a social enterprise established by Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong. The Haven of Hope Sunnyside School provides education for children who are severely intellectually disabled and is a long-term beneficiary of Cathay Pacific's Sunnyside Club.

In addition to giving long-term pleasure to the children and adding vibrancy to the school's garden area, the mural painting event was a great opportunity for people of different abilities to collaborate – and for the Swire volunteers to show off their artistic talent.
