United States Cold Storage ("USCS") has recently opened its second facility in Sacramento, California, to meet the increasing demand from the northern California market. The 6.8 million-cubic-foot, multitemperature site offers more than 31,000 pallet positions and 20 dock doors, providing multi-vendor consolidation, crossdocking, a dedicated quality laboratory, and a special temperature-controlled handling room. USCS has also completed Phase Three of its warehouse in Dallas, Texas. Together with the newly-added 5.3 million-cubic-foot capacity, the Dallas site now offers 14.9 million cubic feet of cold storage, with room for 56,809 pallets stored at temperatures ranging from -20°F to +40°F.
