Rupert Bray refereeing a girls' rugby match in Singapore.

Swire Pacific Offshore's Marine Services Director, Rupert Bray, began playing rugby at a early age and progressed to playing competitive rugby at university; he has been an avid player and supporter ever since. Rupert is a firm believer in the positive benefits of sport on personal development and when he moved to Singapore in 2012, volunteered at the Tanglin Rugby Club as a coach. In 2015, he qualified as a World Rugby referee and he is now a member of the National Panel of Rugby Referees in Singapore. At weekends, Rupert spends six to ten hours on the field, refereeing championship games, coaching children and adults and playing touch rugby. Rupert is also closely involved with Fiji-based Daveta Rugby Club and pledges all his professional refereeing fees to Daveta, in support of their good work in nurturing Fijian players to pursue the sport and develop professional rugby careers.
