James Finlay Kenya’s commitment to keeping its staff safe and healthy in the workplace has been recognised with three awards in this year’s National Annual Occupational Safety and Health Awards competition, organised by Kenya’s Ministry of Labour. James Finlay (Kenya) Limited was named overall winner in Occupational Safety and Health Practice – All Sectors. Chemasingi Estate won first place in the Occupational Safety and Health practice – Agricultural Sector awards, and Kymulot Factory was second runner up in the same category. The awards ceremony is held annually on 28th April – World Health and Safety Day – and the awards categories span Agriculture, Manufacturing, Construction, Health, and the Services sectors.
