After weeks of practice, come rain or shine, it was showtime for the Swire Dragons & Dinosaurs team competing in this year's Dragon Boat (Tuen Ng) Festival, held at Stanley Main Beach on 22nd June. The key to successful dragon boat racing is teamwork: the drummer guides and encourages the team, and all paddlers – from young first-timers to experienced race veterans – have their parts to play in bringing the boat smoothly across the finish line. It is this sense of teamwork that sits at the heart of everything we do at Swire.
