In October, Swire Shipping opened a branch office in Nuku’alofa, in Tonga; it is the company’s 24th office in the South Pacific, strengthening its commitment to customers, partners, and communities around the region. Swire Shipping has operated cargo services to the island nation for more than six decades. The company currently serves Tonga via two liner services, Pacific North Asia and New Zealand Eastern Pacific. The new office is conveniently located at the Ma’ufanga Business Centre, providing customers with easy access to Nuku’alofa Port and the Ports Authority Tonga.
