Swire Properties is lead sponsor of the Hong Kong Palace Museum’s (“HKPM”) two-year “Bi-city Youth Cultural Leadership Programme” – an initiative supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, the Palace Museum, and the Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“HKSAR”) in Beijing. Designed by Hong Kong-based charity, Ednovators, the programme aims to provide a platform for young people in Beijing and Hong Kong to connect, share, and exchange cultural ideas, with a wider vision of promoting Chinese arts and culture locally and globally. Around 40 university students from each city were selected to join the first year of the programme, which commenced in November with an exploration of new perspectives on museums and city innovation.
