Developing talent for Singapore's maritime industry

Swire Shipping has strengthened its partnership with the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) by signing a memorandum of understanding to extend its support of the MaritimeONE Scholarship Programme and MaritimeONE Internship Programme. The company has been a strong supporter of the programmes since 2022 and is committed to providing opportunities to develop the next generation of talent for Singapore's maritime sector. In September, Swire Shipping CEO, Jeremy Sutton, and Interim Chief People Officer, Celia Huang, attended the MaritimeONE Scholarship Award Ceremony 2025, hosted by the SMF. Also in attendance was Mr Yam Keng Baey, Minister of State of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and Ministry of Transport.
