Serving Bangkok’s underprivileged

Last November, 40 volunteers from seven of Swire Coca-Cola's markets assembled in the Thai capital for the Global Service Trip, an initiative which aims to turn purpose into action and make a real difference to local communities. In Klong Toey, which is one of Bangkok's largest informal settlements, volunteers engaged with students, prepared traditional Thai meals for over 100 elderly residents and helped renovate a children’s playground. They also took part in a canal clean-up, removing over two-and-a-half tonnes of waste and helping to restore the local environment. Swire Coca-Cola's Global Service Trip demonstrates that every small action can spark a ripple that inspires others and brings positive change.
