Quarryside, the harbourfront community space in Hong Kong's Quarry Bay area, celebrated its second anniversary in October. Opened in 2023, the space has so far staged more than 800 community activities, benefitting over 50,000 individuals. To mark the occasion, the Quarryside Community Festival was held over two days. The festival was organised by St. James' Settlement, funded by The Swire Group Charitable Trust and supported by Swire Properties, and featured a series of free arts and cultural activities inspired by the vibrant culture of the city's Eastern District, where Quarryside is located. Since it opened its doors over two years ago, Quarryside has empowered creative practitioners, local groups and residents to come together, showcase their talents and contribute towards new experiences for all to enjoy.
