Swire Coca-Cola's new, world-class plant in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, began operating in October, marking a significant milestone in the company's long-term investment and growth strategy. Located in the north-central region of the Chinese Mainland, the site spans more than 13 hectares. It has an annual production capacity that exceeds one million tonnes, and has adopted green, smart manufacturing methods. Designed to achieve LEED Gold certification for sustainability, the new plant has over 30 energy and water-optimisation measures in place. End-to-end digital integration and automated warehousing have been incorporated to enable rapid order response and full traceability, while also improving efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
