Cathay celebrated a significant milestone in June, when it launched its 100th passenger destination. Cathay Pacific and HK Express have together announced or launched more than 30 new passenger destinations over the past two years, including 19 destinations this year alone. Today, Cathay regularly carries more than 100,000 passengers a day. At a cocktail party to mark the 100th destination, Cathay group Chair, Patrick Healy, thanked the Hong Kong SAR Government for the unstinting support and affirmed Cathay’s ongoing commitment to optimising the growth and development of the Hong Kong international aviation hub.
