Martin Murray, Swire Pacific’s Finance Director, has won the Climate Leadership Award at this year’s Finance for the Future Awards. The accolade is in recognition of his work in connecting sustainability initiatives to tangible business outcomes. The judges also praised Martin’s approach to integrating sustainability into finance, which is characterised by a clear focus on innovation and long-term impact. Established in 2012, the Finance for the Future Awards are co-organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (“ICAEW”), Accounting for Sustainability, and Deloitte. They celebrate organisations and individuals who are integrating sustainability into financial decision making.
