Argent Fuels, a leading provider of sustainable biofuels in the UK, has recently opened a new blending and distribution centre serving London, the Southeast and East Anglia. Argent Fuels produces and supplies high-blend biodiesel directly to major truck, bus, and coach fleets. The current standard for fuel on UK roads is limited to a B7 blend (7% biodiesel, 93% fossil diesel). In 2008, Argent Fuels became the first UK business to supply high-blend biodiesel – including blends of up to B30 (30% biodiesel, 70% diesel) – on a commercial scale; today it powers more than 9,000 diesel vehicles nationwide. The new distribution centre is strategically located near key national transport hubs, offering customers in the Southeast easier access to high-blend biodiesel.
