21st November was a hugely important day for the Cathay Pacific Group as it celebrated the official launch of Cathay Dragon – the new name for Dragonair – a rebranding that aims to create new synergies between Cathay Pacific Airways and its award-winning regional subsidiary. The most visible change to date has been the progressive introduction of the new Cathay Dragon livery, which includes the iconic Cathay 'brushwing' logo.

Passengers are now greeted with Cathay Dragon signage at check-in desks, boarding gates and lounges across the airline's network, while the new Cathay Dragon identity is visible in everything from new crew uniforms and boarding passes, to refreshed aircraft interiors and inflight service – creating a more unified brand experience for the airline group's customers.
