Cathay Pacific Airways will launch a new four-times-a-week service between Hong Kong and Tel Aviv in Israel from 26th March 2017, subject to government approval. The airline will also increase the frequency of its services to Boston and to Vancouver with the addition of three more flights per week, commencing on 26th and 28th March respectively. In October, Cathay Pacific commenced a codeshare arrangement with LATAM Airlines Group subsidiary, LATAM Airlines Brasil. Cathay Pacific's "CX" code is now placed on all flights operated by LATAM Airlines Brasil between London and Paris and Sao Paulo in Brazil, and all flights between New York and Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil; LATAM Airlines Brasil's "JJ" flight code has meanwhile been placed on all flights operated by Cathay Pacific between New York and Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific has also expanded its freighter network, with the addition in November last year of a weekly scheduled service to Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport in southern Queensland, Australia.
