On 23rd October, 11 enthusiastic Swire volunteers took part in the annual Walking with Lingnanians Fundraising Walkathon on The Peak in Hong Kong, joining over 1,300 participants to help raise money in support of Lingnan University's First Generation University Education Fund. The Fund provides financial assistance to students who represent the first generation in their families to receive a university education and participate in exchange programmes, internships and other opportunities. Over HK$3 million was raised by the event and will be used to open the gates of opportunity for first-generation students.
