In August last year, Swire Pacific Offshore ("SPO") joined hands with the Central Singapore Community Development Council to organise Project Painting Smiles. Over 40 SPO staff and volunteers from the Singapore Shipping Association's Young Executives Group ("SSA-YEP") participated in this initiative to brighten up the PEACE-Connect Seniors Activity Centre for elderly residents in the Kampong Glam neighbourhood. The volunteers brought to life three murals, designed by Singaporean artist Shaun Soh, and featuring well-known local landmarks as well as the natural landscape.
