Swire Pacific Offshore's ("SPO") Pacific Ranger and Pacific Harrier have been awarded Certificates of Merit under the Automated Mutual Assistance Vessel Rescue System ("Amver") Awards Programme organised by the United States Coast Guard. Amver is a worldwide voluntary, computer-based global reporting system used by search and rescue authorities to organise assistance for people in distress at sea. The certificates were presented to SPO in recognition of its promotion of global maritime safety at the International Safety@Sea Conference held on 30th August 2016 in Singapore.
