Hongkong United Dockyards' ("HUD") joint venture company, Hongkong United Reinforcement Engineering Limited ("HURE") has recently opened a cut and bend rebar processing facility to capture the potential growth in offsite rebar processing requirements due to increasing labour costs in Hong Kong's construction industry. With its seafront access facilitating efficient delivery to construction sites, HURE has leveraged the HUD Group's engineering and tooling expertise to produce a range of customised prefabricated steel reinforcement bar products for industry contractors.
