Beach clean-up

Swire Coca-Cola Taiwan (“SCCT”) encourages staff to participate in community activities and “give back” through volunteer services. In 2021, SCCT launched a scheme that provides employees with four hours paid leave to take part in volunteering activities.

In October, SCCT organised a beach-cleaning event for staff at Guanyin Beach in Taoyuan. Ninety-three employees took part in the day’s event, collecting a total of 664.1kg of garbage, including 646.2kg of unrecyclable material, 2.7kg of recyclable glass, and 15.2kg of PET packaging, and clocking up 372 volunteer hours.
