On 30th September, Swire Properties and Lujiazui Group celebrated the official opening of Taikoo Li Qiantan. The joint-venture retail complex has been tailor-made for the Qiantan International Business District at the heart of the Shanghai Pudong New Area and is the first “Taikoo Li” project in Shanghai.
Spanning a total floor area of approximately 120,000 square metres, Taikoo Li Qiantan is unique in offering a “wellness” experience to visitors, with the wellness theme infusing everything from design and construction materials used, to the diverse mix of fashion, lifestyle and food and beverage offerings, the use of innovative digital technology, as well as wellness, entertainment and cultural events that aim to connect community by bringing like-minded visitors together.
Taikoo Li Qiantan is strategically located at the intersection of three Shanghai Metro lines. Together with the adjacent Grade-A office tower, New Bund Center, and the five-star luxury hotel Shangri-La Qiantan, the mixed-use development is expected to become Qiantan’s “Heart of Urban Living”.
