Partnering UNICEF

In 2021, Cathay Pacific joined the UNICEF Humanitarian Airfreight Initiative to deliver COVID-19 vaccines and medical supplies around the world. Cathay Pacific Cargo has developed its Vaccine Solution to offer high-quality assurance for the fast, efficient shipment of COVID-19 and other vaccines across its network. Meanwhile, Cathay Pacific’s annual “Change for Good” appeal in aid of UNICEF raised HK$1.56 million in 2020 – a hard-won result, given donations comprise spare change collected from passengers travelling on Cathay Pacific flights.
