During a visit to Shanghai on 15th September, Chairman of John Swire & Sons (China) Limited, Zhang Zhuoping, met with Mr Zheng Gangmiao, who is a Member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department of the Shanghai CPC. As part of a round of courtesy calls on senior local government officials, Zhuoping also met with the heads of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and took the opportunity to discuss the Swire group's current investments in Shanghai and express his appreciation for local government's ongoing support. Zhuoping said that Swire will continue with its core investment plans and is committed to expanding its business in Shanghai.
