John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited was a major sponsor of ReThink HK 2021, Hong Kong's biggest annual sustainable development forum, which took place in October. Over two days, some 2,200 attendees from more than 770 organisations convened to explore the challenges and opportunities posed by environmental and societal sustainability, with the aim of driving change in the city.
Pat Healy, Chairman of Cathay Pacific and Swire Coca-Cola, was one of the keynote speakers on redefining business leadership for green recovery and long-term sustainability, while Mark Watson, Group Head of Sustainability, discussed Hong Kong's decarbonisation pathway and how the city's conglomerates can play their part. The Swire Trust, through its TrustTomorrow initiative, also sponsored the Hong Kong Ocean Economy Summit, which was co-hosted by Rethink HK 2021.
