In March, construction got underway at Swire Coca-Cola, USA’s new $475 million, 620,000-sq-ft manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs. In attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony were Colorado Governor Jared Polis, Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade and other local leaders. The newly released rendering of the production facility shows what will be one of the most advanced bottling plants in Swire Coca-Cola, USA’s entire territory, and will be built around cutting-edge manufacturing technology and smart sustainability practices. This investment reinforces the company’s commitment to the state of Colorado where it employs 1,300 people in seven locations including Denver, Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, Johnstown, Pueblo and Alamosa, alongside its existing distribution facility in Colorado Springs.
