International Women’s Day

Colleagues from Head Office and Operating Companies celebrate International Women’s Day 2026.
In March, colleagues from across Head Office gathered for the flagship International Women’s Day event held at Blueprint in Taikoo Place under the theme of “Give to Gain”, which explored how generosity in leadership creates greater value. For this year’s event, the keynote speaker was Ms Teresa Ko, a leading figure in Hong Kong’s legal sector and who reflected on her own “Give to Gain” journey. This was followed by an insightful panel discussion comprising women leaders from across the Group.

Swire Properties’ Gender Equity Network brought colleagues together for a special Comfortable Conversation breakfast, where a lively simulated auction game opened the door to honest, thought-provoking discussions about what a truly gender-equitable workplace could look like.

At Swire Coca-Cola HK, colleagues showed their support for International Women’s Day by wearing purple and sharing photos to recognise the colleagues who have supported and inspired them along the way.

Meanwhile, Cathay operated four all-female flights, celebrating the achievements of women in aviation and inspiring more diverse participation across the industry. It also brought together female leaders from Cathay and the Airport Authority for a keynote session where they shared their experiences and perspectives on the past, present and future of aviation. At HAECO, a series of activities designed to inspire connection and encourage everyone to “Give to Gain” together was held, which included flower gifting as a gesture of appreciation to DIY workshops such as bracelet-making, pearl-inlay handicrafts and creating aromatherapy oils for stress relief.

At Finlays, more than 200 participants came together to celebrate, share and engage in meaningful discussion guided by the UN global theme of “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls”.
