Argent Energy is continuing to help UK bus companies increase their uptake of renewable fuel through the use of its biofuel Dieselite®.

In March, Transdev, a bus operator in Northern England, renewed its contract with Argent Energy to continue using Dieselite at its nine operating centres across the region. Argent Energy has supported Transdev since 2023, when the operator transitioned its entire diesel fleet to low-carbon fuel as part of its broader decarbonisation strategy. Under the renewed agreement, Argent Energy will continue supplying Dieselite and managing daily fuel operations across Transdev’s network, ensuring reliable refuelling, efficient depot logistics and timely deliveries.

Argent Energy has enabled another UK bus operator, Stagecoach, to make a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions across its fleet through the use of Dieselite. During 2025, Stagecoach achieved an annual CO₂ reduction of 61,261 tonnes compared with standard fossil diesel. The savings were achieved across 7,000 buses in 18 regions. Argent Energy entered into a fuel supply agreement with Stagecoach to support the transition of its diesel-powered fleet to a higher biodiesel blend. Dieselite is now supplied over 100 depots in England, Scotland and Wales, forming part of Stagecoach’s wider decarbonisation strategy.
