Last year, Swire Shipping commissioned a yard in Shanghai to build two thousand 20-ft dry containers in order to strengthen the Swire Shipping brand in the market. Construction was completed at the end of January this year, and the majority of the new containers have been shipped out of the Chinese Mainland and are circulating around the company’s network. They have now been deployed on Swire Shipping trades serving its customers in the Chinese Mainland, Southeast Asia, Oceania and North America.
