In August, the 2026 Swire Summer Internship Programme drew to a close. This year's intake of interns displayed boundless enthusiasm and brought fresh perspectives.

During the eight-week programme, they immersed themselves in real business projects, connected with leaders across the organisation and developed innovative, AI-powered solutions to tackle key challenges and harness new opportunities.

Beyond their day-to-day responsibilities, the interns expanded their professional networks, built lasting friendships and took part in a range of enriching activities. One example was helping to protect Hong Kong's coastal environment by joining a beach cleanup organised by The Green Earth – one of the Swire Trust's NGO partners. Through activities such as this, the interns gained a deeper understanding of sustainability and community engagement while contributing to a meaningful cause.
