In July, the first-ever AI Showdown competition came to an exciting close at John Swire & Sons (H.K.)'s head office in Hong Kong. Teams from across the Group went on a mission to find new ways of working that increase efficiency, and over 270 ideas were submitted.
The "Grand Prize Champion and Best Business Impact Award" was presented to the team behind Talent Compass, an AI-powered talent development platform. The "Best Innovation Award" went to Agentic Hackbot, an AI-driven autonomous penetration testing platform. The competition demonstrated how AI can have a positive effect on efficiency and innovation in day-to-day work.
"This campaign provided a valuable platform for colleagues to explore, experiment and learn from one another," said Portia Cheuk, Senior Manager, Learning & Development, who won the "Grand Prize Champion and Best Business Impact Award". "And although ultimately there were winners," she continued, “the real value lies in our collective curiosity and willingness to rethink how we work and grow together."
