Meet KK Leung, Cathay Dining Duty Manager

KK Leung, Cathay Dining Duty Manager, has spent 40 years working in Hong Kong aviation, from the days in historic Kai Tak to today's advanced operations at Chek Lap Kok, home to Hong Kong International Airport.

He says that the people, pride in his work and working in a place that truly feels like home are what have inspired his four decades of dedication. His journey is the perfect expression of the company's “Happy Employee” ethos, where teammates are supported in their growth and proud of their collective achievements.

KK has watched operations scale from a single all-purpose team to specialised units supporting over 200 flights daily. On any given day, keeping operations seamless requires focus and precision, from handling meal arrangements to managing last-minute aircraft switches.

And that's what fuels him, 40 years on – a constant curiosity in an ever-changing industry.
